Baby on the Way!
Hi everyone,
Hope you are all doing well! Life has gotten crazy these past few years and so I haven't been around much, but for those of you who have a long memory and remember us -- Kitsune and I are expecting our first baby in August! I'm currently 7.5 months and the baby girl and I are both healthy. I'm looking forward to posting in the Proud Parent thread. :)
Congratulations to you and the Kitter! Looking forward to another family dwellar. You two will produce top-notch kids!

Here she is! We nicknamed our baby Beans based on how big she was at the beginning of pregnancy. :) She turned up August 20th by emergency c-section (fever, failure to progress, fetal distress, wrapped cord). She was only one day short of her due date and was born healthy at 6 lbs 12 oz. I recovered quickly, and am happy to report we're both doing very well. The weeks have flown by. I'm taking a year off from work as a teacher to be home with her, and I'm loving getting to know this little firecracker, who is strong, happy, and smart as hell!
Thanks all for the good wishes. :)
Much love,
-Choco

That is a very cute baby!
Thank heavens she looks like you and not what's his name.;)
Too cute! What a happy little one!
Congratulations :)
Well done, Choco and Kitsune. Well done indeed.
She looks so much like you two. Love the dark hair! She is a beauty!
Hard to say what her Winston Churchill index was since this photo is at 3 months. I'd bet it was low, though.
Just saw this- what a bundle of joy you've got there!
Congrats!!
Normally, I'd just compliment Kitsune's skills as a master photographer. While I'm sure that's still true, with a subject like this, no talent is required.
that is one happy, beautiful baby! I am almost as happy for all of you as she clearly is!
How wonderful!!
It's good work by you guys.
Thanks, everyone! She sure is keeping me busy. For the most part, she is a happy baby, but every now and then we get a visit from who we have dubbed The Other Baby -- the evil twin whose favorite pasttimes are screaming and punching me in the throat. (Yesterday was one of those days.)
(And V -- I get to take credit for this picture! :) )
Full credit then!
You have produced a lovely picture of a beautiful baby.
If I may... I know motherhood is rumored to be tiring, but don't rest on your laurels. More pictures, please. You wouldn't want to be regarded as a one hit wonder, wouldya?
If you insist!
Pic 1 -- Kitsune and I at our baby shower in June
Pic 2 -- A pro pic of Beans when she was 6 days old
Pic 3 -- Kits introduces Beans to the hammock
Pic 4 -- Me and (a very serious looking) Beans on her first Halloween
Hard to say what her Winston Churchill index was since this photo is at 3 months. I'd bet it was low, though.
She had a very low Churchill index, though when she was one month old she lost all the hair on top of her head. She kept all the hair on the sides and back, though, so she looked remarkably like Chairman Mao.
that's funny!
The pics are great, and you all look beautiful. Kitsune and Beans, I like that one. But for her, there's no hammock, just daddy. And the last one? Come on. When you're a kid, Halloween *is* serious business.
outstanding!!! wonderful!!!!
