I miss slang!

With all the -er- colorful debates taking place on various threads regarding the [color=blue]state of the world[/color], the state of our ability to [color=blue]"agree to disagree,"[/color] the state of [color=blue]alternative fashions,[/color] whether Michael Jackson is really [color=blue]still black,[/color] and (gasp) the recent [color=blue]banning of Segways[/color] from San Francisco sidewalks, I find that I miss the sometimes goofy :rolleyes: occasionally insane :confused: but always amusing :rattat: participation of slang.

I know he's busy [color=blue]writing his book[/color] and all, but, c'mon, slang, how 'bout putting in a word or two for your adoring fans?

BTW, how come when slang went on sabbatical, so did God, Al Gore Smoking, Rush Limballs, Kofi Annan and Saddam Hussein? Mere coincidence? I think not! I think this matter should be investigated along with the other worthy [color=blue]conspiracy theories[/color] being discussed!

Although I must say...it seems like lately there is one Chucklehead on Duty at all times here. It seems to have started with Slang (though he has since reformed), and has just gone on since.

I, too, await the triumphal return of slang.

(I've been carefully examining the news for unexplained rampages by heavily armed gladiators upon Segways. So far, nothing. Nor have I seen anything about anyone rapelling off of black helicopters with his face painted blue wearing a clear plastic suit waving around an AK-47 (paratrooper model). This leads me to believe that he is doing well.)

I believe he got so pissed off about the tasteless jokes thread that he left. I remember thinking about it a while after that whole argument died.

By the way what the hell is with the cellar becoming the hotspot on the net when I don't check it all day. I swear I could have done that the beginning of the week and not come back to this many posts. It's great keep it up people.

We seem to have an influx of new blood. It's quite nice. :)

Yah, Cam got it right. Nic left after the Tasteless Jokes thread blow out. He popped me a PM just before he took off. He wanted to make sure we were cool as far as something that he said on another thread. Then he took off without a word. Its too bad really he had a valuable POV.

I thought he was just starting to ease out of his shell. I'm thinkin' he was way paranoid of identity theft of some other on-line catastrophe. His opinions could be mined from his links along with an interesting sense of humor but you're right, he never brought his person to the table.
