I guess "microwave" means "way to cook something fast", now?

I would call an iron used like that a skillet or a stove, or even a hotplate... certainly not a microwave...

I thought the microwave was a joke. I couldn't imagine much energy generated by .5 volts.

But its real.

intense heating action from a combination of cell phone and radio frequencies.
OK, now I am worried about those cellphones I've been holding up to my ear for the past decade.:thepain:

You're only supposed to peel the film back, not take it off.
Beans have a tendency to EXPLODE during microwave cooking.

Of course they might have designed the snap pots to ensure this doesn't happen.
But I've cleaned enough microwave rooves to be wary.
