Leaving Tornados in our wake!

Bugged out of town straight after the middle school swim meet, drove through a little thunder and lightning into the sunshine all the way across the state. That storm produced four tornados which touched down, one flattening a neighborhood less than 10 miles from out house. Golfball sized hail.......

John Oberg was standing on his porch watching the storm about 6 p.m.. He said he saw insulation fly by and a lot of things swirling in the air.

Probably not quite as stupid as it sounds, but here's your Darwin Award Honorable Mention anyway.

oh. you should see the vid..... people standing in apark shelter watching the damn thing tear the park trees up

It's quite common, especially round here where you get a lot of warnings and not much really happens.

So the guy I was working for today was telling me how he's a trained tornado spotter.....and totally missed it! And he lives a few hundred yards from where it finally lifted up. He showed me a vid of his son and friends in lacrosse helmets running out into the massive hail. While he was taking that video, the tornado was just a little north if only they'd've looked in that direction :lol:

ANd now here we are in Harrison Ohio for another swim meet....and there's a tornado watch

....I hope we don't spend the night huddled in the basement with the noisy sex couple next door.....
