[FONT="Book Antiqua"][SIZE="2"]In Guatemala, there are many people living in poverty, like the woman that lives in this mud brick house.

Yet, in the middle of the poverty, these women artisans make some very beautiful every day objects, such as the huipiuls (blouses) and cortes (skirts) that they wear.

I like the beadwork!!

I actually do beadwork like this, but usually with a loom. I've also used a nail and board, but I like the comb idea to keep the threads separate. Talk about needing focus and concentration....

Ah, to be able to kneel on that stone for hours, see the pattern without glasses, and not have to pee so often it would be impossible to keep track of the pattern. :haha:
