Decken's sifakas appear right at home in their karst home in western Madagascar. These lemurs live among the unusual pinnacles of the Tsingy de Bemaraha, which started to form 1.8 million years ago as groundwater dissolved and shaped the porous limestone.[/SIZE]

At first, with no scale reference, I thought they were humans in space suits. But then I figured out what they were.

They look like Yetis hanging on for dear life after the snow melted.

I'm assuming one is karst. I had to look that up a couple of years back.
Effectively karst is what you see above, and it happens as described.
I won't insult you with a link - if you find the geology in the picture interesting I'm sure you'll go look :)

I thought "Awwww, lookit the little monkeys" and sniggered to myself.
I know quite well they are primates.

The day I have to parachute out of a burning plane that's what I'll see when I look down...
