There is no such thing as honest news anymore. There is no such thing as unbiased news, anywhere.
That's one of the reasons I stopped watching televised news, and stopped listening to radio news (except my local AM newscast at noon). I get all my news from headlines that I chose to get through MyYahoo.com.
And, yes, they get a great deal of their news from AFP and Reuters which are at least as biased as anywhere else.
I just want to know what the story is, not be told how I should feel/think about said story.
If you don't watch the news you are uninformed if you watch the news you are misinformed.

Wassup, infi? Did they misrepresent you when they reported on the neighbors alerting the authorities to your stash of dead hobos?
Yes! They said my neighbors said "she always seemed like a nice person, kept her yard nice, never bothered anybody."
Now there is NO way any of my neighbors said that about my yard. Besides, my yard is just that...about a yard, squared.
And, I'm not very nice.
I do keep to myself, though. They got that part right. ;)
CNN can't seem to tell the difference between news and entertainment.
Oh sure they can--entertainment is the thing that makes them money.
