Beautiful Custom-Built 2009 Wooden Car.
This custom wooden car rides on a 1986 Toyota truck frame and gets power
from a Chrysler 318 engine. It is driven by an automatic transmission and has
merely 1,800 miles on its speedometer. The whole body is made of cedar and
its interior is just as over-the-top as the exterior.

Very well built, nice craftsmanship. That would be very cool if it wasn't so fugly.

I'm afraid I have to agree. With boat building methods, you can get beautiful curves out of wood, so there's no reason it can't have nice swooping curves.

I like it.

Except for the license plate. Doesn't NC have anything else to hang their hat on? First in Flight? Yeah, thanks to Dayton OH. ;)

Hmmm...looks like it might be heavy.

[picky]has merely 1,800 miles on its odometer [picky]

I'd drive it, wooden you?

It's not an odometer, it's a dolphin.

The cannibals would like to add carrots, potatoes, and a match at 55mph for 1 hour. Preferrably drive in a small circle so dinner is easier to find.

infinite monkey • Feb 15, 2012 12:37 pm

Sundae • Feb 15, 2012 2:42 pm

Sundae • Feb 15, 2012 2:59 pm
Soz.
I forget where I am sometimes.
The Cellar is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart, not the lolkthxbai place.
infinite monkey • Feb 15, 2012 3:04 pm
I thought the goat-footed balloonman keeps the stars apart. Oh wait, no, he whistles far and wees a lot.
Sundae • Feb 15, 2012 3:11 pm
Just don't blame me if you keep plums in your icebox.
That's just asking for trouble.
I know. WCW not EEC
infinite monkey • Feb 15, 2012 3:16 pm
I keep my plums in the christmas pie, removing them with my thumb.

Doesn't everybody? Good people do.
Gravdigr • Feb 15, 2012 3:54 pm
I keep my plums in my drawers.

Most of the time, sometimes I take 'em out...

Grav's drawers, or the car?
BigV • Feb 16, 2012 12:24 am
unlikely. looks like it's well sealed as it should be out in the weather. not like the inside of your mother's aromatic cedar hope chest
Sundae • Feb 16, 2012 5:19 am
Grav's drawers, or the car?
BigV • Feb 16, 2012 11:05 am
a distinction without a difference.
Gravdigr • Feb 16, 2012 4:10 pm
