Although it could be interpreted as a chicken hawk, after a farmer shot a hole through it, sprawled out across the rafters of his henhouse ... the arrows in its talons symbolizing the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune for the chicken thieving hawk and by extension the attention thieving artist.

Technical suggestion: it took me a while to see the eagle, partly because the sun is imposed on it. If the eagle's wing on the right had a gap of sky between it and the edge of the diamond, the eagle might be a bit easier to recognise.

Artistically, why is the orb of the sun in front of the eagle? Is it supposed to be shining through or reflecting, or is this some artistic thing?

And is there a reason for the diamond?

I'm pretty sure it was a movie form the 80's. And that guy was Louis Gossett Jr. And he just may have had a tattoo.

It's official. I like it.

Took me forever to see the 'compass' though, I was trying to see a NSEW compass, instead of one used to draw a circle.

JB, what does each of those elements represent to you?

I'm just making diamonds out of gold.. The eagle represents.. ME flying .. the compass is like a "bearing tack" on a submarine and I'm tacking to "6am military time" the arrows represent the navy seals being snatched up out of the water..
