i thought this was a site where a sub could explore and maybe ask questions... but i did not see anywhere i could do that?

We have some old threads regarding dom and sub themes.
The majority of posters now would not be able to give you personal or specialised advice.

You are welcome here, but in truth there are other sites you will find far more useful and helpful.

I saw two threads with useful links, two offers of advice/support, and one more supportive post before any moment of silliness ensued. And there was no nastiness whatever. I guess Australian BeesInTheBonnet are also bigger, nastier and more poisonous.....

I think Ducks is saying that she learns that some Dwellars have hobbies and areas of expertise they have been keeping quiet.
