She called early this morning to say she had missed her flight from Frankfurt this morning and she was stuck there until this evening when she would fly into Washington DC the change for Detroit, due in at midnightish. But I didn't get the Lufthansa/UA flight details and I now see that their last flight of the day has been cancelled. But she hasn't called.

I finally spoke to a human at Lufthansa who said he could not see that it was cancelled and gave me the number for UA which is completely automated. cannot find a human to talk to.

Is she over the atlantic or stuck in Germany? is she Schroedinger's Grandma?

One of the lowest points in my life was dealing with United in Frankfurt. They suck in a very big way. I hope Banana Lady isn't stuck there.

banana lady is indeed stuck in Frankfurt. It was united's fault she missed the connection -she gets assistance and they didn't get her off the plane fast enough, then their "solution" plane -which added another change- (remember, cshe gets assistance, so another chance for them to fuck up....) had mechanical failure. so the whole plane is being rescheduled for lunchtime tomorrow. She needs to talk them into putting her on the Detroit flight tomorrow instead of the DC one, but given their performance today, we're not optimistic about that.

Remember last year, when she was stuck for three days........ *sigh*

Well here's hoping she's on a plane -we just have no idea which one! :lol:
