Who needs a weatherman?

A man from Brunel University has devloped a toaster which provides you with the days forecast. Now this does not consist of charts and numbers, but does provide you with a sun, raincloud, snowflake, etc. And burns, or browns rather, the image directly on your slice of toast. This is all done using Java as it's language.

"Using a matrix we can get a display resolution of 11 by 11, which would give us a few isobars, or the temperature - there's enough room for four readable characters," says Robin. The toaster dials a freephone number, which uses a cached weather forecast. Any bread* will do he says.

This is from my site so please check me out...

I looked through your blog , Ill.

I liked it but there are no pics of your girlfriend/wife posted (unless shes wearing a bikini)

More relevant pics of cool stuff you do and places you have been would be much more entertaining for the mouthbreathing illiterates like me.

Yeah... I am working on more pictures. It comes down to a laziness issue. I'd make a New Year's resolution about it, but if I don't then I can say I never did!

Perhaps I'll shoot for a pop-up book version of the site...

The toast is cool, but I'll stick with my indian weather rock. And the postcard with the fluffy bunny that turns blue, pink or purple depending on the upcoming weather. I like my toast to come out a nice uniform brown color. It melts the butter better.
