Hear! Hear! Hear!

Georgian People! You are deceived by your own government.
By estimate of World Bank about 80 percent of inflation rate is caused by artificial inflated prices of fuel and foodstuff and necessaries. You government is making profit on its own people. And Saakashvili’s minions are skimming cream from inner trade. Owing them Georgian economics is up shit creek without paddle. And your beloved Yankees know that well. Yearly they invest about $300 million into Saakashvili’s regime. But not a cent is spent for raising of Georgian economics. Where are those money gone? They are spent for equipment of Georgian Army.
Georgians! Mr. Obama considers you a cannon fodder for American military ventures in various "hot spots". And you president has been just robbing you and sacrificing your sons and brothers and fathers as offering for the great American god of greed and money. Why are you keeping silence and behave yourself as if you were speechless sheep?

Yeah, I don't know. I approved it. There's no spam, and it's a political rant in the politics forum. Where's the harm?
classicman • Nov 15, 2011 2:10 pm

OH, and I got an email back about the chest. "We can't appraise it for you cuz its worth less that $3,000."

This will be the same poster we've had from that area of the globe before. I forget the previous names, but there's some reason why he/she has to change handles every time or something.
ZenGum • Nov 15, 2011 5:58 pm
Wait, is this Georgia the former SSR or Georgia the US State?
Aliantha • Nov 15, 2011 6:00 pm
I think the former Zen.

And no wonder the Russians showed up 3 days late for the Battle at Water Loo !

Z, I often find myself in the same situation reading non-Yank postings.

Do you think he finally understands his credibility?

Who! Who! Who! is he?
Aliantha • Nov 16, 2011 12:58 am
Some kind of resistance fighter type person from that area of the world.

Surely I'm not the only one who remembers this person???

The only problem I see on your list are the three Paris's in Wisconsin. That could cause confusion. The rest are just fine.

Gun, you forgot Versailles Ohio! Only 'we' pronounce it 'ver-sales.' Hey, I don't make the rules. ;)
HungLikeJesus • Nov 16, 2011 9:18 am
Cambridge, Massachusetts - didn't England name a city after that?
Lamplighter • Nov 16, 2011 9:46 am
Once they got past "Portland" and "Salem", Oregon settlers had no lack of imagination:

There's only one "Idiotville" - just west of PDX - Zipcode 97141
and only one "Needy" - just south of PDX - Zipcode 97013
and only one "Boring" - just east of PDX - Zipcode 97009

...as it should be.
infinite monkey • Nov 16, 2011 10:02 am
I bet there ain't no PDX, France. Or PDX, Cork County, Ireland. Or PDX, Bavaria, Germany.

;)

I like to kid your PDX. I can't help it.

Why do names need to be unique? Your name isn't unique.
infinite monkey • Nov 16, 2011 10:05 am
Mine certainly isn't. There's an infinite number of me.
