This is the video that got removed from a knife forum for profanity. I posted about how that pissed me off.

I heard a couple of F-bombs, but I thought it was an interesting documentary.

Sounds like BS to me.

Those are awesome. I'd hate to lose an arrow when your arrowheads probably cost $50 each.

yeah, I bet those are "Sunday go to meeting" arrows.

I think the language in the video is fine.

Of the video itself, and of the thoughts expressed by the subject, I think he's freakin awesome. I want that experience, I have those feelings. I am sometimes...compelled to make something. I've joked in the past about how it's just my inner skinflint, or that I fancied myself better (or a better maker), or whatever. Sometimes those things have been true, I guess. But, the urge to make it, to understand something well enough to produce it myself is *strong*, very strong.

I showed this video to my girlfriend. She said it did sound like me. Then she surprised me with this statement: "I think you should have a shop like that". Wow! I should for sure, that would be made of awesome. One of these days, honey, one of these days.

Brilliant video, thanks Perry!

I thought you were making a joke about that magazine title.

The knife looks like it was inspired by a shucking knife.

Duh, just looked at the photo more closely and read the article. Never mind, I won't get far on foot.

Don't worry, you still have two left.

I wonder where he gets his blade materials? The article said his Grandad used old band saw blades.

Looks like sheet steel. Perhaps he's disassembling old diners and bathroom stalls.
