I stopped being lazy and looked up what a jacket (as food) was to a Brit.

When Mrs. Z and I were just dating, we used to go for lunch to a fast food place that did jacket (baked) potatoes. They were really excellent potatoes, light and fluffy, and you could get a variety of toppings. My favorite was cheddar cheese and bacon. Ah, the memories. Sniff.

Alas it is no more. So we can't walk down memory lane there.

Fortunately Pizza Hut is still chugging along. We spent a lot of time there, too.

Is "Jesse's Diets" the gastronomic equivalent of "Shank's Mare"?
