holy shit I just sent a really snarky sarcastic email to a client rather than the person for it was intended, though they wouldn't have known since there was no salutation.

I'm also glad I upped the time lag to 30 seconds. something didn't seem right. I killed delivery with about a half second left on the clock.

I now have to amend my "Never post anything on the internet you wouldn't want the whole world to know" to include "never leave your bed, stay under the covers and keep your mouth shut if you wouldn't want the whole world to know what you are thinking."

I clearly cannot be left to my own devices.

That is why I create email messages in this way:

Compose the body of the message. Write, rewrite, boil, harangue, plead, rewrite, etc.

Type the subject.

Then, and only then, do I go to the addressee box and select the target of my spleen.

I've waited as much as 24 hours before rereading, addressing, and sending something like that.

But I really should turn on the lag.

Well, mine was only a single word, so there wasn't much re-reading gonna happen.

Ok. Now I'm trying to guess the word. The things like "fuck off" and "bite me" that come to mind are two words. :D

It's all about context, you would need to see the quoted text. But, I assure you it is a very common word and taken out of context is rather harmless.
In fact, the word appears in this very post.
