12/29/2002: Marcos blown up

It's a few years too late, but today in the Philippines somebody finally had the presence of mind to set up a ton of explosives and blow up this big ol' bust of former dictator Ferdinand Marcos. They don't know who did it but nobody was hurt. Y'know when the USSR went south they didn't waste any time melting down the old icons of failed asshats. This is one use of high explosives that I for one can applaud.

They should have used the explosives on the neck. It might have sent the head rolling down, Indiana Jones style, hopefully into the sea.

Destroy it quickly! Do it before Coke or Pepsi converts it into a giant Mick Jagger or Keith Richards! :eek:
