[SIZE="1"]In some regions of Africa, the meerkat is called a Sun Angel. The belief is that they have been sent by the gods to protect the people from the moon devil.

Soooo, we prolly shouldn't eat them in that case.

I don't know how protected I'd feel what with meerkats weighing in at right about a pound and a half. Moon devils are werewolves after all.

Simples.

Here's some Otters putting the Kittycumbotty on a Crocodile. The music is limpwristed so turn down your speakers.

interesting

Interesting? Ohh, I think not. Fascinating perhaps, but not at all interesting.

There are a whole series of them now - adverts I mean.
I got a toy meerkat (dressed like Alexander) from playing the camel derby on holiday.

It doesn't make me buy the product - having no car! - but it doesn't repulse me the way some adverts do.

Have you bought a Petite Lap Giraffe or would Diz be jealous?

How fun! I want one, too!

I would have sent him to you!
Or at least taken a picture.

But Mum insisted on a clearout of my room before I went back to school - yes it's as infantile as it sounds - and I gave him to a charity shop. I like to think he would have been immediately snapped up and the money is already on its way back to Africa.

The meercat ads are starting to get a bit creepy in my opinion. Ever so slightly disturbing.

Why, thank you!

Moms are like that. Dads, too. Which is why I WILL NOT let dear hubby do that to MY kids!

I'm sure someone is benefiting from the dear meerkat. He's too cute to not provide benefit to somebody. :)
