If you're one of those people who like to vote on things that have absolutely nothing to do with them (and may not even make any sense to them), Swimmer Girl's school would appreciate your votes here to get their first ever (homecoming) pep rally with Seniors televised locally (it's a new school so this will be the first year with graduating students and full strength varsity sports)

SG is officially a varsity athlete, so she will be in the rally and parade. Let's really go all American here! :lol:

we've gone from 39 when I voted the first time early this morning, to 360 a few minutes ago (and some might argue that it's still pretty early in the morning) -at this rate we'll overtake St Clair by afternoon swim practice.

Currently in second place with 30% of the votes 14 5,700 (behinf Birminham, not St Clair any more. just half an hour ago we onl yhad 23%. Gaining fast...... We are alittle past afternoon swim practice, though. And then we've got to stay in the lead for 4 days......

thanks all. although I'm a bit confused -the pep rally is at 1:45 but the tv show is in the morning. are they going to reschedule and interrupt education for high school sporting fluff? Surely not? :lol:

We won ....and the answer is we're holding a pep rally just for the TV at 6AM. Gotta be there by 5:15. Did I mention that's AM? that's even earlier than swim practice and......Fridays is usually our day off from morning swim practice..... becasue we have meets on thursday nights :eek:
