So, I was driving over to the hospital to see crazynurse.
I was sitting in traffic, waiting for a light to change.
It was a long and tight line of traffic.
Then I see a true vision before me.
Coming straight towards me. He was moving. I wasn't.
I could not struggle my phone out of my pocket fast enough.
So I only have a memory.
Of seeing ...
The Batmobile.
The real one. Engines to power, turbines to speed and all that.
I swear I could hear the music in my head.
It gleamed, both actually, and with the bright glow of childhood memories.
Actually, it was even cooler than the time I saw the Wienermobile up on 202.
I didn't have any room to turn around to try to follow him.
The TV batmobile or one of the ones from the movies?

Pretty freakin cool, I'd say!
The TV batmobile or one of the ones from the movies?
TV ... sorry, thought I'd made that clear.
Most excellent! I guess "childhood" memories should have answered my question.
TV one is way cooler too!
Duh duh duh duh duh duh duh...BATMAN!!!!
So cool you could keep a side of beef in it for a month...
Most excellent! I guess "childhood" memories should have answered my question.
I thought the "engines to power, turbines to speed" was the clue.
It's been a few decades since I've seen it. Can't remember the dialog all that well. Just "same bat time, same bat channel."
What about "POW" and "BAM"??????????
Yeah, sure. But that wasn't really dialog. I mean, that was visual effects and sound effects/music.
True.
My joke got POW'd and BAM'd!
Sorry. I got your joke, I'm just still feeling a bit self conscious that I didn't recognize that "turbines to speed" quote. What's wrong with me? I should know that.
What's wrong with me? I should know that.
Meh. I should be able to tell by now what's wrong with me too.
Maybe JBKlyde could add some perspective...?
*snicker*
No, glatt, my joke was FITTINGLY POW'd and BAM'd.
I didn't recognize the quote either, and I know I watched me some serious Batman!
Sundae, I nominate you to PM JBK and ask for his advice on the matter. ;)
He said something about the blod of teh Lord.
I think he meant custard. It goes with apple pie anyway.
I didnt recognize it either, in fact I dont even remember hearing it.

I cannot believe so many people got that quote wrong!
It's not "Engines to power, turbines to speed"
