i'm starting the academic year with good intentions...and as part of that I've decded to do an intermittent blog on the Soldiers and Soldiering website.

Here's my first blogpost:

http://redcoats.ning.com/profiles/blogs/general-regimental-courts-martial-glimpses-into-soldier-s-lives

It's pretty short, but it's a first step :P

'Wifully occasioning a Sore to disenable [sic] him from Service'. Sentenced to '400 lashes'

"You want a sore? Oh, I'll give you a sore. 400 of them!"

*chuckles*

I hadn't thought about it in that tone :p

I like the use of the word 'disenable'. reminds me of 'embiggen'.
