NS/STICK JAM

Finaly...a good video of some jamming on the NS/STICK.

This is a hybrid instrument that mixes a chapman stick with a bass guitar. It is played like a bass but has 8 strings and can cross over into the guitar register.

This is me screwing around after a practice with a friend of mine named Austin Gartman.

I saw Vic Wooten, with Bela Fleck and the original Flecktone line-up sweeet, last night playing some kind of hybrid bass, very cool stuff. Thanks for putting that up Dr.

Victor Wooten is the best there is in my opnion...how very cool that you got to see him play.

That's the third time I've seen him with the Flecktones. I feel like he was more the focal point during their Little Worlds tour and was holding back a little in the name of balance in the current line-up. Still an awesome show by some brilliant musicians.
