Good luck to all those Cellarites getting ready to weather the storm. This is going to be a big one and I hope you all stay safe and come out on the other side unscathed. I will be praying for you. :heart-on:

I was going over my hurricane prep and I just realized we're out of mayo.

We're out of mayo. The stores will be packed right now. I will have to make a run at midnight.

Do you have eggs and lemon juice? Be a survivalist pro and make your own!

No, I can't do it. But a survivalist pro could!

and oil, you'll need oil to make mayo, and it's really easy. you can turn it into aoli by adding garlic. :)

Experiencing life means everyone has a bad date at least once in life. For some, it is a movie. For others, it will be this weekend.

I bought an industrial pack of chicken at the new Costco yesterday. I may get bored, but I'll be fed.

There is a flashlight on every table, and I have battery operated radios in my living room, bedroom, and kitchen.

All I have left to do is fill the bathtub with water. In the event of a real emergency, I have my camping potty bucket.

And I have plenty of liquor.

And a deck of cards ... if I can remember how to play solitaire without a redeal button.

Pennsylvania Road Conditions

How cool is that ... I was worrying about getting road conditions to the EOC. Hopefully this will show secondary roads as well as the big ones.

I survive the hurricane unscathed and then ...

My apartment building is on the other side of that firetruck.

I was making myself some nice Blueberry Pancakes and all of a sudden the fire alarm goes off.

After making sure that I wasn't making any smoke, I turned off the stove and grabbed my emergency bag and went outside. In retrospect, I should have taken an extra moment to put some syrup on the pancakes and taken them out with me. They reheated okay, though.

Some moron on the 3rd floor can't cook.

On the upside, it wasn't long before the firemen were bringing dry hose back down the stairs.

But I totally didn't need this.

Dry ho's...those are just the worst...
