Nazi/white nationalist pop group twins... all growed up

Maybe you didn't see them when they were a brief media fury, looking like this:

They're all looking like this now:

And here's the Rest Of The Story:

Lamb and Lynx Gaede, the dimpled tween rockers whose Nazi-themed pop band, Prussian Blue, sparked an exuberant media firestorm several years back have grown up — and had a change of heart.

"I'm not a white nationalist anymore," Lamb told The Daily in an exclusive interview, the twins' first in five years. "My sister and I are pretty liberal now."

"Personally, I love diversity," Lynx seconded. "I'm stoked that we have so many different cultures. I think it’s amazing and it makes me proud of humanity every day that we have so many different places and people."

Faith in humanity... restored.

Ok, I'll get it out of the way early ...

It's our Emma all grown up.

As someone he would have wanted eliminated (on at least two counts) I'm not sure why, maybe it's just that the image of a smiley Hitler is funny, but those t-shirts are kinda cute.

Yeah, but he fucked up that mustache forever.

I overheard two "college" girls in Blockbuster one day -
"Charlie Chaplain must be a Nazi."
"Gee, Tiff, why's that?"
"Well, look at his mustache. Only Nazi people wear that."

I weep for the future....

The British comedian, Richard Herring did an entire show based on the Hitler moustache. He grew one for the show. Was very funny....you probably had to be there though...:p

I went to see him live for his Christ on a Bike tour. Awesome.

That is hilarious Dana. Thanks for sharing.

More like as you get older, you become less idiotic, through thought and experience. I am an excellent living example -- my flirtation with the really radical was early, shallow, and brief: a one-year membership in ZPG, at about age fifteen.

It has its roots in being more willing to keep God's peace.

UG - your humility is breathtaking to behold.

And...you're funny!

But not as funny as a Hitler moustache.

I just finished Erik Larson's In The Garden of Beasts about the American ambassador to Germany as the Third Reich came into power. Everyone talked about that stupid mustache -even back then it was stupid.

Back to Lynxy and Lambikins:
A HA!
“I have to say, marijuana saved my life,” Lynx told me. “I would probably be dead if I didn’t have it.” She discovered pot while recovering from her cancer treatments. She’d been prescribed morphine and OxyContin, which she quit cold turkey. One day when she was having a bout of nausea, a friend offered her a toke. She was reluctant at first. The girls’ biological father had been “a druggie” when they were young, Lynx said.

But the drug worked wonders, and soon Lynx became one of the first five minors to get a medical marijuana card in Montana. Now Lamb has one, too.

Pot has also helped the twins rekindle the creative impulses they once channeled into their music. They’ve both taken up painting — astrological themes, mostly — and Lynx restores furniture. They hope to enroll in college, and intend to dedicate themselves to making medical marijuana legal in all 50 states.

'The racist is better at being liberal than you are. that's embarrassing.'

that's what makes him so insufferable, it's not the heat, it's the humility.

Also, you should get your funny bone checked.

I think mine just broke. Or severely sprained at any rate.

We're still not sure.

Personally, I still think he might be underground astroturf for the dems. Make a bad enough argument for the republicans and you promote the dems.

So all someone has to do is bake Rev. Phelps some hash brownies.

I'm sure I stole it from somewhere initially. Probably heard it somewhere and it stuck. Most of my humor is derived from others. I'm not actually the funniest person on earth, I'm just the best at cataloging. :D
