Waxing a cougar is a major pain in the ass. My advise is to stand a safe distance back and spray your cougar with a can of Pledge, then run like hell. The cougar's coat of Pledge will dry as he chases you across the yard. Most cougars will finally roll in the grass trying to rub off the Pledge on their fur, and this will buff up their coats to a nice shine.

... unless the cougar catches you, in which case you won't have to worry about it.

If I ever decided to "show" Diz, it is recommended that I buff him up with a shammy leather (chamois).
