12/13/2002: Oil spill bits

After the oil spill in Spain there were many shots of various beasts in various levels of discomfort as a result of it all. This guy got the very worst of it, I think, and so he is documented here. I can't stop thinking of the defiant shellfish image we had a few months ago. This guy was not so defiant.



But on the other hand, there are people cleaning wildlife and this bird looks like it will be good to go.

When I was listening to NPR and CBC the other day, they were saying that it could take four years for all the oil to spill out. What a nightmare.

What the hell kind of Friday images are those? Is it the whole Friday the 13th thing that has you spooked?
I guess the bird is close enough, but I want baby lions and cute bunnies next time. :D

Less fossil fuels, more breeder reactors for hydrogen for fuel cells.
