In this April 20, 2011 photo released by the Governor’s Island Foundation, a calico cat is seated across from some buildings on Governors Island in New York. According to the New York Daily News, security guards on the island found the cat with salty, matted, and seaweed caked hair over the weekend of April 16. Workers on the island believe the cat swam over from New Jersey, which is more than a mile away.
