webpages that have automatically playing music and automatically running ads that have the volume cranked all the way up. I hate that shit and wish I could disable it. For some reason, I can no longer turn that feature off. WTF.

I love that my Apple has a mute button easily available on the board. I hate that shit too.

My pc has a mute button on the keyboard too. I thought that was just standard?

mine does too, but I listen to music through my computer's music and my phone rings through them so muting is not an advantage.

the other day, now i have monday night football for my ringtone but when i have my phone hooked up to my pc it rings something else. anyway the other day i was talking to tulip, it happened tonight too, but when my phone was hooked up to the puter it had a different ringtone. why?

When you connect the phone via the USB cable it kicks into something called mass storage mode, which means that you can't access data on the media card, which is where your cool downloaded ringtones end up, so it has to divert to the phone memory, which is where the boring system-supplied ringtones are. It usually picks the default, otherwise the last one you used from the system ringtones.

A large portion of that shit can be avoided by installing the flashblock extension. Flash is evil.
