How to tell if someone smokes a ton of pot

After a decade of answering the phone calls of troubled teens and young people, Dr. Drew and Adam Carolla determined that serious stoners have a particular hiccup-y style of laughing.

It became comical, because they would hear the laugh and immediately tell the caller, wow, you smoke a ton of pot. And the caller would immediately confess to it, and the radio listener would immediately say, wow, that's magic, how did they know that?

This is that laugh. Anyone who laughs like this smokes a ton of pot.

They are true audiologists. I heard an episode of the show once where they talked about how girls who were sexually abused as children had a "little girl" voice quality, and that specifically the age of the voice stopped at the age of the abuse. If she sounds like an 8-year-old on the phone, she was molested at 8. Drew was better at it than Adam, but the two of them demonstrated this over the course of several callers--"if you were abused, call in and we'll tell you how old you were when it happened"--and they were within a year, every time.

And I wouldn't call that a hiccuping laugh either. Maybe it means something different over there.

Had you sounded that annoying when I met you I'd have slapped you upside the head. Then again, had you ponied up I'd probably not have been in a condition to do any slapping. My hand-eye coordination being "special" at the best of times. I actually dreamed we were getting stoned together the other night, but all I was worried about was the fact I didn't have any knickers on (yeah, good reason). Oh and I had a bottle of vodka I wanted to drink without sharing. Don't think that one's all that Freudian.

ETA - I am not denying the premise of the OT. Just saying Dani doesn't sound like that.
