I'm sure the "You smelt it you dealt it" defense will be in full bloom over there.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I guess they'd rather people die of stomach aches and pathological distention of the bowel (big shit) caused by gas pressure build-up, than just release that gas pressure out of the body.
