Rooooad Trippppp

Some of you know that I started traveling from one side of the USA to the other this week to move in with my new husband. Today went off to a great start!! We drove about 500 mi total (which was our goal) and made it into IN for the night. All day, the sun was shining and traffic was moving quickly. Every time we hit a city and got a little bottlenecked, things opened up for us... and we even got a little lost and had lunch at an adorable diner left over from the 50's (pics to come later.)


Then this happened:





So we thought... maybe we'll try to take the southern route and go along I-10 instead:



Yeah it's full of tornadoes.

We are safe for now, but it's going to take a little longer to get where we're going. I will update along the way, and once we get out and get settled, I will upload some pics of the trip as well. Just wanted to let those of you who knew I was traveling know that I'm safe, and let those of you who didn't already know start worrying about me. :D

Sorry everyone, I kind of forgot that I started this thread. We did in fact make it to California some time ago and we're safe. We've moved into married life pretty easily for the most part and have just been setting up the house as best we can knowing that we have to move in a few months. Maybe sometime I'll upload some more photos from the trip for you guys to see.

Glad to hear you made it safe. BTW, is Mr Razz part of the 2nd MarDiv or II MEF? I served with both of these units in the past. Just curious if he might know some buddies of mine

Mr. Razz is in communications, that's all I can tell you (because it's all I understand about his job.) He was still in school out there in California, and now we're living in NC.
