I'm no longer a Virgo

Seems, I'm a Leo.

so... that's cool, right? I always made sure to tell people that I was on the Leo cusp when I had to admit to being a Virgo.

so now I feel better...and more in harmony with nature.

The New Zodiac

ARIES = APRIL 19 - MAY 13
TAURUS = MAY 14 - JUNE 19
GEMINI = JUNE 20 - JULY 20
CANCER = JULY 21 - AUG 9
LEO = AUGUST 10 - SEPTEMBER 15
VIRGO = SEPTEMBER 16 - OCTOBER 30
LIBRA = OCTOBER 31 - NOVEMBER 22
SCORPIO = NOVEMBER 23 - NOVEMBER 29
OPHIUCHUS = NOVEMBER 30 - DECEMBER 17
SAGITTARIUS = DECEMBER 18 - JANUARY 18
CAPRICORN = JANUARY 19 - FEBRUARY 15
AQUARIUS = FEBRUARY 16 - MARCH 11
PISCES = MARCH 12 - APRIL 18

Ok, I've done zero research and I'm not sure if this is a big hoax or not, but I like being a Lion more than a Virgin, so I'm off and running. My son remains a Leo, but my daughter has gone from Cancer to Gemini.

Welcome to Club Leo, there'll be a little something extra in your paycheck next week.

I am so not a Libra. Not even close. ;)

I was into all that astrology crap when I was a teen: read all of Linda Goodman's stuff, we tried "charting," I learned what my moon was in and a bunch of other stuff I can't really remember.

When I heard about this "story" I thought it was funny, as if there's anything to the hooey at all, that all of a sudden most of my characteristics would be different. How much of my scorpioness was self-fulfilling prophecy? Am I really a set of scales trapped inside a scaly arthropod? Is it possible I could be a more normal industrious sort of sign? I've been living a lie.

:lol:

I used to be virgo/libra cusp and claimed libra when pushed. No I' m virgo? Well thank goosness i always thought it a load of bollocks......

...but... if it changed due to changing universe, are we all changes? or only those born after the redefinition?

And is there any chance this is sponsored by the jewelry industry who would love to sell everyone new birthstone stuff...and better still shift a backlog of a previously unsaleable "gem" What is the stone of the new sign, by the way?

Is the New Sign really pronounced "Oh-fuck-us"?

New zodiac signs 2011: There is no astrology change with your horoscope

"But before astrology fans scrape the ink from their arms because they think they're now a Virgo instead of a Libra, they should consider this: If they adhered to the tropical zodiac - which, if they're a Westerner, they probably did - absolutely nothing has changed for them.

That's worth rephrasing: If you considered yourself a Cancer under the tropical zodiac last week, you're still a Cancer under the same zodiac this week.

That's because the tropical zodiac - which is fixed to seasons, and which Western astrology adheres to - differs from the sidereal zodiac - which is fixed to constellations and is followed more in the East, and is the type of zodiac to which the Star Tribune article ultimately refers."

I've apparently slid backward into Sagittarius. Now I like centaurs just fine, and I always thought it was a cooler sign than Capricorn, but looking over the descriptions, despite Sag having some fine qualities, I am a Capricorn, in all of the Sea-Goaty goodness.

Guidos get to start all over, 'Hey baby, what's your new sign?'.

If you're no longer a Virgo, did you became a Virago? ;)
