Very Nice Fargon. If I could just get my wife to go with that I would be the Man.
footfootfoot • Nov 29, 2010 9:00 pm

Heh. I was gonna say 'Charlie Brown called, he wants his Xmas tree back.'

That would be funny to have the deer nibbling at the top of the tree.
Tulip • Dec 1, 2010 12:31 am
Gravdigr: You like deer, eh?
casimendocina • Dec 1, 2010 12:41 am

Please tell me you hang a red ornament on one of the antlers.

He goes to another room during Festivus.

Not him, but one of the other five heads in this room usually sports a Santa hat. I have a pic on the dead computer.

is the dead computer also stuffed and mounted?

My mom got me one of those Charlie Brown trees this year. I can't tell from Fargon's angle, but the bulb is supposed to bend down the branch like in the cartoon. There's also a linus blanket for the base and a button you push that plays Guaraldi's Charlie Brown Christmas theme.

Not quite RFN, but I didn't make it back to my computer...

Ouch. That looks like it could do some serious damage.
Sundae • Dec 17, 2011 7:22 am
Pretty, Limey!
And I'm going to see them :)

Our tree isn't worth posting, but...I thought you might appreciate this pic of my grandson, Gavin, who is, in fact, the cutest almost two year old kid on the entire planet. This is him holding one of the several Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars he got tonight as he opened his Yule gifts.
xoxoxoBruce • Dec 18, 2011 2:53 am
Bet he lit up the room better than any tree.
Griff • Dec 18, 2011 8:11 am
Handsome lad Spode.
Clodfobble • Dec 18, 2011 8:59 am
Very cute! But the shadow made me think for a moment that he was sporting a mullet. :)
infinite monkey • Dec 18, 2011 9:02 am
And I thought he had one fuzzy sock on!

Cute kid, little chubby cheeks. :)
Big Sarge • Dec 18, 2011 2:20 pm
Gavin looks great. I bet you had a wonderful time!!
Pico and ME • Dec 20, 2011 4:23 pm
I love that thoughtful look on Gavin's face.

I finally got my tree up...crappy cell phone pic doesn't do it justice.
fargon • Dec 20, 2011 6:44 pm
The tree looks really good, despite the crappy picture.
fargon • Dec 20, 2011 7:50 pm
After Bootsie broke the red ball that came with the tree we got more ornaments.
TheMercenary • Dec 23, 2011 9:50 am
No body doing a Festivus Tree this year?

glatt • Dec 23, 2011 9:59 am
We had a house near us that always put out the Festivus pole, but this year they did not. Maybe they moved. This is from two years ago.

I just love the whole idea. I would never get the wife to go along with it.
classicman • Dec 23, 2011 1:01 pm
For Els ...
Sundae • Dec 25, 2011 1:02 pm
Not my tree, but one on Arran.
Limey obligingly stopped to show it to me.

And close-up, so you can see that you are seeing what you think you are seeing :)
Sundae • Dec 25, 2011 1:07 pm
Our "tree" this year.
I'm proud - that's my cactus. A bit battered by various moves, but it's like me, a survivor. I've had it over ten years now!

And below, my wrapping theme for this year. The Financial Times (a daily with distinct pink pages) and cerise ribbon (20 metre roll from a dressmaking site on eBay).
