What did you buy?

On Black Friday I bought a 1 TB external hard drive, cardigan, new hat, flash drive and all my presents for my family. Successful day, and I didn't even go out that early (7:30am)!

I took advantage of Black Friday deals online to buy 3 sets of pajamas for Minifobette from Kohl's, but not as Christmas gifts, just because she needs more pajamas.

Didn't go shopping today. Took my son and visited a hospital & Rehab center. It was nice to visit the patients who couldn't get out and we both enjoyed paying back a little to the staffs that gave us so much to be thankful for.

Couldn't find a good deal on a 1 TB portable hd, or rather couldn't catch one fast enough, so I just got 2 500G portable hd. Only gone for 30 minutes, Radio Shack is really close. :D

I've been quite irritated by the Black Friday emails from Amazon.co.uk. Black Friday does not exist in this country. It really doesn't. Think about it - Thanksgiving...? No.
It's like Americans receiving Boxing Day emails from Amazon .com.

I'm all for the integration of cultures, but not wholesale smothering in order to conform, conform, conform. That's Retail-Imperialism. Saying that, I was delighted to find our McDonalds healthier than yours due to consumer pressure. I celebrate cultural diversity! Probably best we can't get lagers in ours like on the Continent though :drunk:
