You've certainly heard of the parts of Manhattan, like the Financial District, Harlem, and Greenwich Village. There are about 55 other tags, many of them overlapping, applied to the island. Here's a map.

That's a cool map. I looked for a larger version with Tineye that I could print but couldn't find one.
Heres a data map for Philadelphia that has some neigborhoods, but is missing Cobb's Creek and a lot of other by lumping them into SE and SW Philadelphia.
