Best Candy Bar?

Flint • Oct 31, 2010 9:21 pm
I'm not big on sweets, but I could eat those little square-sized Snickers all damn day long.

I'm sayin' Snickers is the king of candy bars. Disagree? In my mind, there's no competition!

Almond joy has been my favorite since I was a child.
footfootfoot • Oct 31, 2010 10:22 pm
The inch asked me tonight what my all time favorite candy bar is.

I like Baby Ruth, Payday, Snickers, but I think Goldenberg's Peanut Chews is probably tops.
Clodfobble • Nov 1, 2010 12:17 am
Ooh... it's a dead heat between Almond Joys and 100 Grands.

Field of 64?

The internationals won't like it.

Mars Bars

Yeah, a Milky Way here is a Mars Bar there, and a 3 musketeers is a Milky way, and a snickers was a marathon.......
Spexxvet • Nov 1, 2010 9:32 am
Reese Peanutbutter cups, KitKats, three musketeers.

So. I guess you feel like a nut all the time?
Happy Monkey • Nov 1, 2010 10:36 am
I feel like a nut, but I like dark chocolate, so I can never be satisfied.

The tyranny of modern big business.

I love dark chocolate too, but not in my regular candy bars. However, just for you...
wolf • Nov 1, 2010 11:34 am
I love many of the expensive dark chocolate bars you can get these days, but my favorite remains the Hershey's Special Dark.

And Kit Kats.

And that Take 5 thing, with the broken up pretzel bits in it ... heaven.

I like a lot of chocolate.

Except the Mounds/Almond Joy family. Allergy to coconut.
Trilby • Nov 1, 2010 12:26 pm
My favorite changes from time to time. Used to be Snickers; now it's Reese's peanutbutter cups (the mini ones are even better than the regular - why is that?)

Don't like the KitKat. Not crunchy enough.

Like the Twix.
Pico and ME • Nov 1, 2010 1:09 pm
I had Twixes and KitKats to give out last night. I asked the teenagers to choose between them, and mostly the girls picked KitKats and the boys picked Twixes.

:yikes!

does that make me a boy?
Pico and ME • Nov 1, 2010 1:29 pm
Naw, you just have masculine tastes...:D.

I like KitKats (although I really dont like them a whole lot) over twixes any day. I dont like the gooy part of twixes. But I LOVE the gooey part of a Cadbury caramel candy bar...

:yum:
Sundae • Nov 1, 2010 2:11 pm
I like a Picnic bar best (Cadbury).
I rarely buy choc in bar form, but if I do, it's usually this.
Lion bar, Drifter (both Nestle) or Double Decker (Cadbury) may also feature.

Mini bar wise, I do love me a Crunchie (Cadbury).
Can't be arsed with a big one though - too samey.

I've honestly never been a fan of Mars products.
If a Mars bar is chilled in the fridge and then sliced I'll enjoy a few bites, but otherwise it's just too much.
When I worked in marketing I used to get Mars products free (promotional leftovers I mean) and I'd take them to the pub I worked in for the Landlord's children.

The minis have a higher chocolate-to-peanut-butter ratio.

ORLY? In UK, in my experience, TWIX was the prefered snack of grannies, so everyone young avoided it like the plague....
xoxoxoBruce • Nov 2, 2010 12:57 am
Nuts are tough on Grannie's dentures, so Twix work better for them.
Gravdigr • Nov 2, 2010 1:24 am
I used to loooove Zero bars!
Urbane Guerrilla • Nov 2, 2010 12:44 pm
Skors, with their slab of brittle toffee clad in chocolate -- they're awfully good. Oddly sensual for something crunchy.
