Palin Stalker

Spexxvet • Oct 15, 2010 12:43 pm
Someone is stalking Sara! Oh my! What does momma grizzly do? Does she mawl the stalker with her mighty claws? No. Does she shoot the stalker? No. She whines to the authorities, and an activist judge grants a restraining order. So much for "keep the government out of my life". Like most of her kind, she talks the talk, but can't walk the walk.

An Alaska judge has issued a six-month protective order against a Pennsylvania man accused of stalking former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

You fail to realize that no one wants ZERO Gov't. This is the type of thing that the authorities should be doing. seriously WTF?
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 15, 2010 2:34 pm
A restraining order won't protect her, other than her body guards can call the cops if this guy just makes an appearance, rather than wait until he does something threatening.

Of course she could have said, 'Bring it on, punk', and ambushed him. :haha:

REALLY. So save the partisan inaccurate cheap shots for someplace else.
Pico and ME • Oct 15, 2010 4:43 pm
That was on the hyperbolic side, but the cry of socialism from the right is too.

I agree. All we hear are the extremes...

Now that's the pot calling the kettle black.

No one. That's pretty extreme. And inaccurate.

Between Sarah Palin and her 18-year-old stalker who threatens her with murder -- if you find yourself on the side of the stalker, the time has come for some personal reflection.

Some hear only extremist rhetoric. Others see extremists and extremism as the enemy of all people. Moderates are necessary for the advancement of mankind.

"Liberals vs. conservatives" is what wackos are taught to think. Then everything is heard only in extremes.

Unfortunately, wacko extremists have been and are encouraged by enemies of mankind - Beck, Hitler, bin Laden, Fox News, Limbaugh, Joseph McCarthy, Likud, etc. The educated among us do not hear only extremes. Every above listed extremist uses nasty attacks to recruit supporters.

Moderates learn from responsible sources including science, three responsible TV network news, NY Times, The Economist, those who always include many 'reasons why' with their conclusions, and from those who first learn facts and numbers before knowing anything.

Many years ago, an extremist read only Chapter One of Thomas Barnett's book. Saw only what he wanted to see. Then posted extremist political rhetoric here. After over a year of overt challenges and accusations, he finally read Chapter Two. And still he did not get it. He could only see extremes. He completely misunderstood Barnett's warnings. Today, we are suffering those ignored warnings because extremists could not bother to learn Military Science 101.

George Jr, et al never understood well proven concepts delineated in Barnett's book. An extremist political agenda would not let them see reality. All they heard were the extremes.

Extremism. What Bill O'Reilly said repeatedly on national TV because he is also a wacko extremist. And because he gets popular support (and wealth) by promoting wacko extremist agendas. Extremists believe because Fox News (Fair and Balanced) told them how to think. It must be true. All they hear are the extremes.

Extremists do not even remember that TARP was created by George Jr. Extremists have been told what to believe - reality be damned. Extremists: a mosque in lower Manhattan is Muslims again attacking America. Reality. That mosque is more desirable than nearby whore houses and betting parlors. Extremists simply ignore those other establishments to only hear the extremes.

It was never about "liberal vs conservative". It was always about "moderates vs extremists".

That stalker is just another example of an extremist told what to think. No different than another who was told to kill Rabin because Likud wanted to destroy the Oslo Accords. There are only informed moderates (a world in perspectives) and extremists (a world of 'good vs evil').
classicman • Oct 17, 2010 10:45 am
the problem is extremists don't see themselves as such and oftentimes try to prove they are not with long-winded excessive posts pointing fingers at others.
Urbane Guerrilla • Oct 23, 2010 10:22 pm
Tw, remember, if there is any spare capacity in your brain at all, that your opinions are neither neutral nor natural. The man who most cries "wacko extremist" is the man who dwells in that place and is most intimately familiar with it -- and you are most insistent about trumpeting that.

It's why you're single, and it's why I think you're a creep.
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 24, 2010 12:21 am
I'm so glad you had something useful to add.
Urbane Guerrilla • Oct 30, 2010 2:26 am
Hey, reminding everyone how dysfunctional tw really is is a public service. You should diligently do it yourself, as a means of maintaining the Cellar's good mental hygiene. Consider it an act of faith and charity. That's two out of three.

It would be a more hopeful endeavor than your tedious and unsuccessful attempts at the put-down. You're not going to get me to bow before you yourself fall to your knees. You never did recognize how lamely invidious you were being, and you still don't. Now, eschewing that lameness would improve both your functioning and your general estimation around the Cellar. Esteem comes with being a class act. Invidiousness will not cut it.
Griff • Oct 30, 2010 9:52 am
I suppose with tw we need the reminder because he adds value to conversations between diatribes...
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 30, 2010 10:51 am
And some factual information between opinions.

Boy, he can really be worth a good laugh now and then.
spudcon • Oct 30, 2010 8:35 pm
Sorry children, UG's right.
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 30, 2010 8:58 pm
Do you mean UG's critique of tw's style is correct? If so, you're missing the point and the irony.
spudcon • Oct 30, 2010 10:14 pm
It was correct, and I think his comment about invidiousness wasn't exclusively for TW. He wasn't looking in a mirror.
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 31, 2010 2:33 am
He probably wasn't looking in the mirror, if he had been he might have seen he is the very image of invidiousness. That's why posts 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20, were all basicly...
What a classic pot calling the kettle black.

Were he to eliminate the diatribes, he'd do better. Not that that will happen; unlike me, he is driven by his resentments, and if he's ever processed an emotion in an adult way, I've missed it. No matter how... eccentric, his resentments drive him.

If it takes one to know the other, why would you laugh, Pico? It's not like you're visibly one of the great minds of your generation, is it?

Nor is Bruce, I'm afraid. He's not at all stupid, and I respect that in him; I like to talk to the guy... but if it's garbage going in, it's damned difficult to manage anything other than garbage going out.

Bruce, try "indignation" vice invidiousness.
xoxoxoBruce • Nov 9, 2010 4:53 pm
Try thinking instead of kool-ade.
Urbane Guerrilla • Nov 9, 2010 5:10 pm
Naturally. And that's why I speak as I do, Bruce.

You once told me I had taken the wrong road. Never once have you been able to state in what particulars my road was actually wrong, and never once have you shown your road is visibly better. Pretty sorry.
