Career Cycle: Completed

I've just closed the circle on a major career milestone. A former student called me to sub on a gig.

I didn't know whether to feel proud or awkward.

You're a mentor, you'll be their source of inspiration, and relief when they're in need, always. His calling you wasn't to throw you a bone, it was to help him out, because you're his safe haven in a storm tossed profession.
