Do you get paid by the click from youtube? It's pretty impressive/suspicious that all you do is post youtube links and yet you still haven't got the embedding thing -despite asking and being told how to.

I met my husband in an AOL chat room for thirty somethings. (I was actually only a month away from 40). That was 8 years ago and we are still doing good.

I "know" quite a few people who met online and are very happily married -Brit/American couples who frequent expat boards. But the only ones of those I've met IRL have since split up and it wasn't pretty. But they were together for several years and he since married another American, so I don't think their method of meeting really had any bearing on their break-up.

Any Horror stories? You know a time where you met the totally wrong person?

Dating, no way, I would never seek to date...but meeting people you like enough to be chummy with, yes.

I've met a few really neat people. I am sure there are way more neat people than I allow to get close, but yeah.

i;ve met someone online. i hope my post doesn;t piss her off. at best i have a great friend. you can never have too many friends. she is sweet, caring, loving an all around wonderfully great person. at this point and time she does not want to get together but that is perfectly fine with me. i am patient. she is worth the wait.

Well, it looks like you have a project going all the time. I think that is a good thing.

I met my husband over the net. We'll be married 5 years this year and have a beautiful 2yr old son.

Technically, I met my husband on the net, but it was a company intranet and he already knew who I was.
monster • Mar 13, 2011 10:11 pm
I only really talk to my husband via the internet these days....
