help, please, dammit!

I'm obviously an idiot, and can't seem to embed YouTube videos. Can someone please explain, in idiot steps, for me?

I have tried copying the embed code and pasting. I have tried wrapping the embed code with the YouTube tags provided in the little menu thing above, but neither method works.

Youtube URLs look like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2PGr7xjbWE

Copy the bold part in between the [youtube ] [/youtube]tag. i.e.: [youtube ]g2PGr7xjbWE[/youtube]

thank you; that worked. must be a mystery trick, since that's not the way it seems to be suggested in help bits.

I'm going to try it too. I was feeling the same as you Cloud. Success in this department is yet to be mine though.
