July 22, 2010: A Whale of a Day

We were sailing along, on a peaceful day.

You could see the whales swimming, they seemed to say:

Anyone know what kind of ship that is in the background of the second pic?

Since it was mating season, I wonder if it was part of a courtship ritual, or the whale thought the boat was a rival?

No that whale just lost a bet.

Maybe the whale caught a rerun of Free Willy and was trying to reenact the final scene.

We were watching the video footage of this tonight and it reminded me of that scene from the movie 'Hancock'.
