Since we have not heard from the Magic Eightball in a while, I thought we could fill in the blanks for him.

Smooth is in the South of France working with Stevie Wonder and the Dropkick Murphys on a RnB Celtic Punk album with surf sensibility provided by Jack Johnson.

No no, Griff, you've got it all wrong. After losing both hands in a freak baking accident, Smoothmoniker was forced to give up music and is now touring the country giving motivational speeches to schoolchildren. (This is also why he hasn't logged in; he's still in the process of learning to type with his toes.)

I understood Smooth had been featured on Who Do You Think You Are... and having discovered convicts in the family tree immediately took off for Australia. He's currently gone walkabout in the bush.
