Since no one else was gonna....I present to you Treasure Hunt 11. (The Cellar Treasure Hunt goes to 11!)

5 categories, enter up to one picture for each.
How you interpret the category is up to you.
How voters interpret the category is up to them.
Whether voters pick photos with the most technical expertise, the wittiest interpretation of the category or the best post production polish is up to them.
No archive pictures allowed -you must take and post your masterpieces between now and 11:59:59.99 PM eastern on Sunday, July 25th 2010.
The Entrant with the most category wins wins, in the event of a tie, the one who has the most total votes, then earliest entry gets the honors. Prize is to pick the categories for treasure hunt 12.
There are no limitations regarding pre or post production enhancement, red eye removal or photo editing, provided YOU took the pictures of all the elements included in the shots, and YOU do all the digital manipulation.

so far, the uglies are amusing me. I guess ugly is in the eye of the beholder, but I see nothing ugly about the two posted so far.
I agree re Jinx's (sorry) just because the photo is absolutely beautiful.
Mine is probably the context. It's three examples of brutalist architecture sat smack bang opposite a lovely Georgian building. But as they're on opposite sides of the street there's no way to get the two in together.

Also, the two shillings were still in use as ten pence pieces in my childhood.
'Florins' they were called - the 1966 one in Glatt's photo must have been one of last, there can't have been too many minted beyond then.

This is a great bunch of pictures. I'm glad we had so many participants. At least five in each category.
Jinx, that bug on the berry is my favorite overall image in this thread, but I can't vote for it. It's just not ugly at all to me. It's amazing and cool.
So I had to come in here and compliment it because it deserves some praise. WTF is that thing?

I don't know what they are, but they are on the wild raspberries that we pick at French Creek every year. This is the first year that I managed to keep one captive and alive long enough to get its picture - and it wasn't easy. They're really tiny and don't seem sit still at all.
And I agree, great job all.
I'm just an observer and voter, but this is one of my favorite threads, or whatever you call a group of threads. Keep up the great work everyone!

I wonder if the board's Admin could have a look at the voting mechanism - it seems to be broken as none of the votes members must be placing for my pictures appear to be registering!
Bear in mind that I'm no expert but I think the bug is probably an aphid of some sort or another, though coloured differently it looks quite similar to some we have here.

You could end each numbered thread like this with the winning pic in each category, or some synopsis? I vote and watch the threads a bit but I don't really know how it all worked out point-wise.
But I know you are all busy, so this might not be feasible.
