What was the internal temp, buster?

I've done pork butts from time to time, but only when I've got plenty of free time.

All it needs is a little bacon for flavoring. :D

Businesslike hatchet there too -- did that figure in the preparation? ;)

buster, that looks delicious. I've had the same problem you described. Sometimes I just finish it in the oven.

This one though was smoker all the way. I put it in about 4 pm Saturday, and I fed the firebox twice after I started it. I took it out about 11 am Sunday. It took me at least an hour to pull/fork it all apart and bag it up. I started with 18.5 pounds and wound up with 11.5 pounds of meat. Can you guess which one was closer to the firebox?

It's good. I had pullled pork sandwich for dinner.
