Grand Daddy of Cellar

There have been some real oldies here who have been posting since the turn of the last century on cellar (and wonderful contributers that they have been!). I wonder who's the oldest guy still going guns ablaze out here. I found that following are the few big elders, see if we can dig up something more primitive:

That's when the Cellar transformed to it's present form. The beginning is 10 years earlier.

Wow, really? I thought Undertoad was the creator of this forum since he's the admin. So, when was this forum created?
Undertoad • Jun 14, 2010 2:12 am
Sept. 24, 1990

OH WOW!!! This forum has been around for 20 years? One hell of a forum with great members to last that long. I'm glad I found this place to call home then because I hate moving. :p:

Since it was transformed in/near 2k to its current state, from whatever primordial soup it used to be before that, does that mean that no one is here from 1990s?

IIRC tw and a few others have been around since before the switch also and still actively post. Is that true?
Undertoad • Jun 14, 2010 11:55 am
I recently estimated the number at 7.

Very cool. Thanks UT.

So, UT ... Is this how you thought it'd turn out, when you started it all 20 years ago?
Undertoad • Jun 14, 2010 2:14 pm
All I knew was that I had this friend who was really into BBSing, who did computer work and programming, and we thought it would be a great project to create something like KAOS but with two phone lines instead of one. So all our Philly friends could call in and not get so many busy signals.

This is like about 400% better, because there are no busy signals, and everybody around the world can join in. This mouse interface seems like a better idea than we first thought. Plus, people can have videos, and point to other things. Maybe 500% better.

And do we buy the Cellar a beer when it turns 21?
HungLikeJesus • Jun 15, 2010 12:00 am
Don't we buy the Cellar a beer every month?
xoxoxoBruce • Jun 15, 2010 12:11 am
Most months.
