My card
lumberjim • May 22, 2010 11:20 pm
Initially, I ignored this thread because it was by richlevy, and I assumed it was lame.

I must apologize. That was some funny shit.

the second post, not so much, but that first one.... yeah. .....funny.

also, it would be cool if we all posted pictures of our business cards...... except, i bet most of you are to paranoid to actually do it.

I don't see that as backhanded.

I am quite clearly saying that most richlevy threads are lame....but this one happens to be rather funny.

is

YOUR

monster • May 23, 2010 12:47 am

Ha! Yeah, I thought about it for two seconds and decided better of it. Too bad, it would be interesting, but...just so many lurkers.

I think most richlevy threads are interesting.

Didn't there used to be a function where one could click the user name and choose "Find all threads by (user)"?
lumberjim • May 23, 2010 12:54 pm
go to profile, then statistics, you'll see it there.
HungLikeJesus • May 23, 2010 2:54 pm
Thanks lumberjim.

I just looked at the threads I've created and realized that most of them are pretty dull.
spudcon • May 23, 2010 5:43 pm
But are they lame?
HungLikeJesus • May 23, 2010 9:27 pm
Most definitely.
kerosene • May 23, 2010 11:36 pm
Mine are all lame.
Clodfobble • May 23, 2010 11:54 pm
I've never in my life had a business card. On two occasions, I worked long enough for big enough companies that they were going to order me some the next time they put in an order... but it never happened.
glatt • May 24, 2010 9:35 am
Every time this place changes their logo, they give me a new box of business cards. I pretty much never use them. I don't want people calling me.

The first time they changed the logo, I just threw the old ones away. The most recent time, I gave the old ones to my kids, figuring they would do something creative with them. I took a bunch back when I needed to use them temporarily as shims for a home improvement project I was doing.
lumberjim • May 24, 2010 9:47 am
my cards are hokey. they have a picture of a Titan (pickup truck) on them....and they're glossy.

ghey.
Trilby • May 24, 2010 10:38 am
I worked for a company j - u - s - t long enough to get business cards----and then I immediately quit.

felt really good.
Pie • May 24, 2010 12:35 pm
First company I worked for:
1. Changed its name
2. Twice
3. Moved next door
4. Changed offices
5. Got promoted
6. Got acquired
...Got laid off.

For those of you keeping track at home, that's 6 boxes of business cards in 5 years. :eyebrow:

Spexxvet • May 25, 2010 9:54 am
Rich has never started a lame thread.
lumberjim • May 25, 2010 11:21 am

I'm just a big meannie. good thing you're around to protect people from meannies like me.
glatt • May 25, 2010 11:58 am
I went back and looked at some of my old threads. Boy, I started some stinkers. I wouldn't say they all suck, but some do.

Look at this one:
Cops Hate Bugs

Actually, I really haven't started that many threads.
lumberjim • May 25, 2010 12:03 pm
I've probably started MORE lame threads than anyone.... but then, i start a lot of threads.
wolf • May 25, 2010 2:22 pm
I've occasionally started a thread with a mild limp, but no lame ones, really.
Pete Zicato • May 25, 2010 2:23 pm
My threads are lame -- due to the injury they incurred while saving people on 9/11.
lumberjim • May 25, 2010 2:44 pm
this is my most lame recent lame thread
classicman • May 25, 2010 2:44 pm
Not only are most of my threads lame, but 85% of my posts are as well.
ok maybe 99%
lumberjim • May 25, 2010 2:45 pm
