Well, I got a new box with windows 7, a couple days ago. 7 has no email client so then the fun began.
Tried MS Live... horrendous. Mozzilla Thunderbird... not much better.
Yeah, yeah, I have a Gmail account I give out to websites. That doesn't suit my needs.
So I upgraded to 7-pro, and downloaded Virtual windows for XP, and Outlook Express. But, I'm having trouble getting photoshop, ReaConverter, etc, into the virtual windows. I liked the setup I had, because I send a lot of emails, and many of them get forwarded, but since I've been on Verizon (Sept), I've received 0, yes zero, spam.
Anyway, I've got a shitload more setting up to do, and some personal stuff to deal with right now, but I shall return.
XoB is back in the saddle again and this time he's riding with the Magnificent Seven (Windows 7)! Vaya con Dios Bruce.

Windows Live Mail (free client for Win7) is pretty good. Mr. Pie has been using it. (I use Thunderbird.)
