The enemy is unmasked

I realize this is tedious, but if you have the time, at the 3:04 mark the enemy is unmasked.

On one hand, she's just a stupid college student and there are a lot of stupid college students who are highly idealistic.

On the other hand.
lookout123 • May 12, 2010 2:45 pm
Wow. I was waiting to hear some idealistic speech about peaceful ideals and misunderstandings. I was not expecting that.
classicman • May 12, 2010 2:51 pm
 Shock and awe. At least she was honest about it. thats all I got for the positive.
xoxoxoBruce • May 12, 2010 10:46 pm
As soon as I saw the scarf, I knew where she was at.:eyebrow:

Looks like a very bad phase to be much embarrassed about later....on video. I agree, wrapped up in the wrong stupid-idealistic college crowd...
Aliantha • May 12, 2010 11:01 pm
...or maybe it's got nothing to do with the college crowd and everything to do with her upbringing?

Either way, it'd be interesting to know how an educated young woman can come to the conclusions she has.
Yznhymr • May 12, 2010 11:17 pm
After watching that, I have a compulsion to buy more ammo...and let my fingers do the walking as I look for a new support group...let's see...m i l i t i a...ahh, there it is!

Regardless of her education she has chosen submission to a religion that has not dragged itself screaming and kicking out of the Dark Ages, but rather seeks to drag all others, screaming and kicking, back into them.
Aliantha • May 13, 2010 2:00 am
Sure, but I still think it'd be interesting to know how someone living in a western, predomiinantly Christian culture can hold to those beliefs when they're clearly not stupid.
wolf • May 13, 2010 2:09 am
Faith is non-rational. And she probably bought the line about how much Islam honors women (despite considering them worth less than a man for inheritance and property ownership purposes).

Or she was born into it, and knows that her father and brothers will kill her if she tries to give it up. Fear is a big motivator, although in most religions that's a fear of deity rather than fear of other believers.

Keep 'em cloistered, and keep brainwashing 'em.

I watched it again last night. I also watched some other clips of Horowitz. Very interesting. The one at UC Santa Barbara had some other, apparently many, college students with that same scarf on. WOW! I had no idea.

Depths of ignorance and stupidity march across her face - and she seems rather proud of it.

I hope her scarf doesnt' get caught in the spokes of any wheels.

Can't we just have a sum up?
wolf • May 13, 2010 2:10 pm
Allah commanded through Mohammed that all of the worlds peoples must be Muslim. If they refuse, they can remain Christian or Jewish, but have to pay an usurious tax, and are not allowed to have houses of worship or come together in groups. And you can kill them. Pagans you can kill outright, but Christians and Jews must be given a chance to come to understand that submitting to Allah is the only choice. That's the idea behind the tax ... and the expectation that within a few generations those folks will join up. Islam takes a long view of success. Oh, and if you are Muslim and decided to try another path, you will be killed.

There's more, of course, but those are the essentials.
lookout123 • May 13, 2010 2:13 pm
Oh, you're just being a negative nelly because muhammed said it is ok to kill pagan's without giving them the chance to convert.
wolf • May 13, 2010 2:20 pm
You bet.

Statement from a grad student instructor of the girl in the video:

This girl is actually my student; I know her to be an intelligent, moral young woman who believes in peace. I do not support any organization that advocates violence against any specific group, nor do I believe that my student would do so. As a peace loving, Catholic teacher, I’m saddened that this speaker–her elder–manipulated the conversation in this fashion to make her look like someone she isn’t, out of an egotistical desire to prove his own point, rather than engaging in a constructive dialogue. A perfect example of why the peace process is limping foward so painfully

I like Horowitz, and don't think he manipulated the girl into anything ... you stand up to heckle the speaker, you takes your chances.
lookout123 • May 13, 2010 2:23 pm
I saw that comment. 1) Either not really an instructor, just someone wanting to say 'evil jew' without coming out and saying it or 2) they really need a better class of professor at that school.

The girl wasn't tricked into anything. She was asked whether she supported the idea of rounding all the jews up in Israel for extermination rather than hunting them around the world. She answered in the affirmative.

Her "Come celebrate MSA's Hitler Youth Week" was unprompted.

Translation = I'm a horrible judge of character...:rolleyes:

Agreed. I liked a lot of the videos I saw last night. Too bad they were mostly on Fox.
Undertoad • May 13, 2010 3:19 pm
The Hitler Week comment was because Horowitz had referred to it as that during his talk.
Trilby • May 13, 2010 4:58 pm
anyway - I wouldn't hire her.

kids are dumb. I remember an Antioch class having some asshole cop killer (mumia somebody or other) as their gradution speaker - letters poured in telling the kids in that particular graduating class (2000 ? ) not to bother applying for jobs in X or Y county. Stupid kids.

Funny thing, too. Antioch college is no more.

It is, so is Robert Spencer's Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam and the Crusades.

And it doesn't hurt to read JihadWatch and DhimmiWatch regularly.

I do have JihadWatch bookmarked and read it about once each week, I have not heard about the other one and will check it out. Thanks.
