How many here have kiddos?

DangerouslySimple • May 10, 2010 3:36 pm
And what are their ages, if I may ask?
Shawnee123 • May 10, 2010 3:36 pm
I have none, and they are 0, 0, and 0.
Sundae • May 10, 2010 3:36 pm
I currently have 30 aged 6-7.
Nine girls and 21 boys.
Cloud • May 10, 2010 3:50 pm
2 kids, uh . . . 27 and 33. 8 grandkids, 5 mos. to 12 yrs.
DangerouslySimple • May 10, 2010 4:05 pm
LOL SG, I'm sure there's a story there?

I have six kiddos. 4 girls, 2 boys. Ages are: 12, 11, 9, 7, 3 1/2, and 11 mos old.

And with that- commence with the little old lady who lived in a shoe jokes. I know y'all are thinking them :P And no... no we aren't Catholic. And yes... I gave birth to all of them. We are done. I don't care how many times my husband gives me "the look" that says he wants another one. He's not the one who has to stay home with them all day long.
fargon • May 10, 2010 4:20 pm
We have an 18 Mo. old cat.

In that case, I have two: aged 17 years and 15 years, a girl and a boy. :catsmilie:
Pooka • May 10, 2010 4:28 pm
Flint and I have 2. A girl aged 3 1/2 and a boy aged 2 1/2. A nice balance and we are stopping there.
jinx • May 10, 2010 4:59 pm
We have 2 - they'll be 10(girl) and 12(boy) by the end of summer.
DanaC • May 10, 2010 5:26 pm

I have two of my own, a 2yo girl and an almost-4-this-month boy; plus two stepkids, an 8yo boy and an 11yo girl. I had wanted more, and haven't given up hope quite yet, but the two youngest have severe health issues that need to be addressed before I can consider dividing my attention another way.
Pico and ME • May 10, 2010 6:35 pm
None of my own, but two stepsons, 17 and 19. The 19 yr old called me Sunday to wish me Happy Mothers Day. It made my day.

I was just at your GFCF website, and shared the link with a friend who has a son on the spectrum. She tried once, but like you said, it takes a lot to commit, and couldn't find any decent recipes :) I don't even need to do gluten free- but some of those look good enough to try regardless :)
Aliantha • May 10, 2010 7:04 pm
We have three boys. 13, 12 and 1.

Thanks! Let her know that she's more than welcome to email me through the site with any questions or need for support. I'm very happy to help, and regularly end up talking to folks on the phone.

I hate the word kiddos. I've only just got(ten) Americanized enough to say kids instead of children...... of which we have three: 12, 11 and 8, one no-tail, two tails.

At first I thought you were referring to ponytails, and was entertaining the idea that you'd had too many Buds to remember the genders of your children... and then I was like, "Ohhhhh."

frankly, yes.

although ours are officially beestmonsterlets.

Kiddos just sounds like some cheesy brand of something primary-colored and plastic. Probably half price right now, and ...if you call within the next ten minutes.... you can get two lots for the same price and a free kiddo scraper, valued at 9.99
skysidhe • May 11, 2010 12:23 am

I used to have two boys. The younger has recently disowned me (I suspect to save the cost of a Mother's Day card) so - one son, disgruntled. One son - gruntled.

That's great! Imagine the money you'll save on food and clothing, and now you can rent out his room.

My son mostly just grunts. Does that make him gruntled or disgruntled?

I can't even do that! Well, I do have an orchid, but it lives better if neglected. It will die if doted with water.
