Who's pissing on your head and telling you it's raining?

I met a young lady tonight that told me about how she met Santonio Holmes in a bar and is soon going to be dating him (he keeps texting her), so he'll probably just pay this car off anyway. Her aunt ratified this and corroborated details of the interaction.

ok!

that's great news!

She didn't know anything about him...and he didn't tell her he was a multi millionaire. (Just like in the movies) but her friends and aunt told her afterward....

Also, the $1200 check we're holding for a week for her down payment will be clearing with no problems.

where's that facepalm thing?

ah!.,....yes.

This isn't going to end well.

Too bad there isn't a "crazy" breathalyzer.
"I'm sorry, you have to come back when you're not crazy"

To be a fly on the wall and what would the fly have seen as a reaction?

Lj doing the squint y eyed stare? Or red with embarrassment for her? smile stiffly? lean forward at the desk with intertwined fingers to stare her down as if to figure out what planet she is from all the while playing the poker face? or cajoling and playing humorous all the while inside your bugging out?

do tell!

my guess would be

cajoling and playing humorous all the while inside your bugging out

Do you think she and auntie are a pair of con-artists or just incredibly naive?
xoxoxoBruce • Apr 17, 2010 8:47 pm
Certainly, always professional, even when it hurts.

I was going to ask you outright and say something like, "jinx what do you think", or "jinx would know"... but didn't want to maybe.....embarrass you or presume too much.

Some of us are just in sync today. ;)
lumberjim • Apr 17, 2010 8:57 pm
and she's correct, of course. you have to play along in that situation. I know how to talk to a tweaker. She's probably bipolar. We kept one of her keys until we're funded.

So, we took our car back last night.

It turns out she lied about her employment and income, too. Gasp!

I forgot to tell you that the check DID, in fact, bounce and she was coming in last night to pay us half in cash....... but we had gotten a call from the lender who discovered that her paystub was fake, and she didn't work at the salon at all.

It's good to know my instincts are still working, i guess.

Yes it is Jim. Mine too, but thats for another day - need to calm down first.
ZenGum • Apr 30, 2010 3:26 am

You want me to swing by Cortland (Jets training camp) and let Holmes know? I'm sure he'd just buy the car out-right.
Trilby • Apr 30, 2010 7:42 am
Bi-polar delusional crazy people need cars too, ya know.
squirell nutkin • Apr 30, 2010 11:07 pm
If I weren't so lazy I'd make a Santonio Holmes sock puppet.

Hard to find the topic that best fits my current outrage. I'm too mad to even post about it right now, but a new parent to our school is pissing on our heads and telling us it's raining. :mad2:

I suspect they will regret it. :haha:
lumberjim • May 3, 2010 7:59 pm
update: I'm told that one of our salespeople saw her 'hooking' over the weekend.

niiiiice.

I had a feeling in any case the car would need detailing after you got it back...

oh yeah. But sadly, so will all eight of their adopted children. This family uses overprotectiveness and overkill as a substitute for good parenting. But now they have seriously hurt one of our most respected and loved teachers and we're all MAD. Better wait before I say anything more, though. Want to rant, but best not.....
